Creating cool denim text effect

| Start
by typing your text. |
|
| Double
click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings
shown. |
|
|
|
| Duplicate
the layer and remove the layer style. From filter menu select sketch>>halftone
pattern. Apply settings as shown. |

|
| Change
the layer mode to difference. |
|
|
| Duplicate
the main text layer again. Remove the layer style and move the layer on
the top of all layers in layer window. |
|
| From
filter menu select brush strokes>>crosshatch. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
| Press
Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
| Change
the layer mode to overlay. |
|
|
| Duplicate
the layer and press Ctrl+F to apply the filter again. |
|
| Change
the layer mode to soft light. |
