Creating a cool photo frame
|

Start by
creating a new file. Create a rectangle using rectangular
shape tool.

| Enable
add to shape area form the top bar. |
|
|
| Create
two triangles using polyogon shape tool. Place as shown. |
|
|
| Press
Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to
get the shape as shown. |
|
|
| Duplicate
the layer several times and join by placing above each other. |
|
|
| Seelct
and merge these layers. Double click the layer to open layer
style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Press
Ctrl+T and rotate a bit. |
|
|
| Similarly
create other sides and place as shown. |
|
|
| Create
a circle using elliptical shape tool. |
|
|
| Enable
add to shape area form the top bar and create a few more
circles overlapping each other. |
|
|
| Double
click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style
with the settings shown. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Create
a circle for the sun using elliptical shape tool. Press Ctrl+T.
Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to get the
shape as shown. |

| Double
click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style
with the settings shown. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Create
a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool. Press
Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to
get the shape as shown. |

| Double
click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style
with the settings shown. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Create
wave shape using pen tool. |
|
|
| Create
some more wave shapes and place as shown. Reduce the opacity
to 50%. |

|
| Create
a fish tail coming out of water using pen tool. |
|
|
| Duplicate
layer. Enable lock transparent pixels from layer palette.
Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip vertical.
Fill it with black color. Reduce opacity. |
|
|
| Insert
your family or holiday photograph. Move this layer below all
the layers in layer order in layer palette. |
|
|
| Create
a selection using lasso tool. |
|
|
| Press
Ctrl+Shift+I and delete the outer area. |
|
|
| Select
and merge all the layers. Double click the layer to open layer
style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |
|
|
|
|
